Only thing the backpack does is quality of life when you are full and can't pick up new artifacts. Logic for cursed artifacts should be 1 if statement.īoth this and the hero number restriction optional rule are very very small tweaks imo. 1 additional button at the current screen which opens the backpack in a new window will probably be the easiest way. I think that would be very easy to implement. What I mean is same interface as Heroes II currently has, only there are two spaces for artifacts, one active, and one for storage (same way how in HIII you have the paper doll system, which is active, and the row at the bottom - which is passive storage).
